Balance Screening
(Free Community Program)

Winter Haven Hospital will be presenting free community Balance Screenings on: Thursday, September 18, 2008, at 9:30 am or 11:00 am. Each session will last about 90 minutes including screening & instruction.

This special community event will be held at Winter Haven Hospital’s Outpatient Rehab Center, Gill Jones Building, 3425 Lake Alfred Road, Winter Haven, Florida. The sessions will be conducted by a physical therapist from the Center. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

If you are experiencing loss of balance or fear of falling, this screening may help you. You will be given information on what contributes to balance, a screening of your balance ability, and some suggestions on improving your balance.
