Surgical patients, 2 years old to elderly

ACLS, PALS, CPR, care of post-op patients, Alaris IV system, Pyxis medication system
Most common meds / those nurses must be familiar with:
Fentanyl, morphine, dilaudid, muscle relaxants, reversal agents
Care extenders used:
LPN ~ care for on hold patients (team lead by RN), patient transport, restocking, HBOC order entry, blood product pick-up, obtaining supplies; PACU techs ~ transporting pts, obtaining supplies, HBOC order entry, blood product pick-up, restocking
Certification req for cert diff:
CPAN (through ASPAN)
